The Association of Health Care Professionals Bulgaria (AHCPBG) , which is also known as AHCPBG is Healthcare Membership Organisation for multi-professional healthcare professionals and organisations, which promotes research, education, healthcare innovations and organisational activities for healthcare professionals in Bulgaria, and also participates in international/intercontinental healthcare activities in order to promote efficient education and healthcare for all.
Its aim is to support, promote and maintain the highest standards of medical practice, patient care and education and act as the 'advocate' for healthcare professionals in Bulgaria on education, training, work related matters and professional standards issues. The demand by Healthcare Professionals in Bulgaria and the Balkan Region to have a multi-professional and inter-disciplinary healthcare Organisation to promote medical practice, healthcare matters and education in communities, including community development and social care programmes in Bulgaria and the Balkan Region started since 1946, after the Second World War. Following various consultations and meetings with different professional groups in healthcare sector, medicine, surgery, public health, sciences, humanities and social sciences from 1947 to 2020, it was agreed that the Association of Health Care Professionals (AHCP) in Bulgaria will formally start in 2021.
As a result of the above recommendations and decisions, the IAHCP was launched in April 2021 in Bulgaria with its first Statute, including its Constitution and By Laws, which governs the operations of the Association. This was approved by the approved by the Trustees/Directors/Committee/Council during their first meeting of 22 and 23 December 2021.
The AHCPBG aims to serve as your competent and reliable partner in promoting excellence in medical practice, health and social care and education in Bulgaria. Our members, officers and staff will always welcome you with friendly, supportive and attentive service.
